Iryna Sekret, PhD hab., Professor (Abbant Izzet Baysal University, Turkey). In 1996 she graduated from Dnipropetrovsk State University as a specialist in Practical Psychology and Teaching English. In 2002 she defended PhD dissertation on Educational Psychology in Kyiv. During that period she was teaching in Verkhnyodniprovsk Agricultural College, Dnipropetrovsk State University and International Journal of Research in E-learning Dniprodzerzhinsk State Technical University. Since 2004 she has been heading the Foreign Languages Department and acting as a Vice Dean of the Philology and Sociology Faculty (2007, 2010–2011) in Dniprodzerzhinsk State Technical University. The defense of the dissertation for the degree of the Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences was held in 2012 in Kyiv. Her scientific interests are e-learning, methods of teaching, linguistics, educational psychology.

Xabier Basogain, PhD, ing., in telecommunications engineering at University of the Basque Country, Spain. Specialist and expert in the areas of Science Research Computer Science, Web 2.0, English Educational Technology, Qualitative Research, Curriculum, Design, Programming, Human Computer Interaction. Xabier Basogain is professor of the University of the Basque Country - Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea. He is engineer of telecommunication by the Polytechnic University of Madrid and he is doctor engineer of telecommunication by the University of the Basque Country. He is member of the Department of Engineering Systems and Automatics of the School of Engineering of Bilbao, Spain. He has taught courses in digital systems, microprocessors, digital control, modeling and simulation of discrete events, machine learning, and collaborative tools in education. His research activities include the areas o f: a) soft computing and cognitive sciences to STEM; b) learning and teaching technologies applied to online education and inclusive education; c) augmented and virtual reality with mobile technologies. His research group (http://ehu.es/gmm) is integrated into the consolidated research groups of the Basque university system (2010). He has an extensive number of publications in scientific, academic and social forums. Since 1998 has been working at Silesian University in Katowice. Currently employed at the Faculty of Ethnology and Educational Science. She has been conducting courses of informational technology in foreign language learning, information technology in pre-school and primary education, biomedical bases of development and education, research methods in pedagogy and pedagogical diagnostics. Her main scientific interests are learning autonomy and its support by teachers. Miroslav Hrubý, PhD (Department of Communication and Information Systems (CIS), Faculty of Military Technology, University of Defence, Brno, the Czech Republic). A graduate of the Brno University of Technology, the Czech Republic. Responsible for the scientific projects of the CIS Department. Daniel Kadłubiec, PhD, hab., professor (University of Bielsko-Biała, Poland). Worked at the Pedagogical Institute at the University of Ostrava since 1964, then at the Charles University. In the years 1990–1992 – Head of the Department of Polish Philology and Folklore, and from 1990 – Head of the Etnikum Institute of the Polish University of Ostrava. In 1996 became Head of the Department of General and Applied Folklore Studies at the University of Silesia in Katowice – Branch in Cieszyn. Paulo Pinto, PhD, associate professor (Lisbon Lusíada University, Portugal). Develops his skills mainly in computer science; these skills proved to be useful while conducting research in education science mainly because of the use of so-called new technologies in teaching (virtual classrooms, e-round tables, and so on). Author, in conjunction with other colleagues, of two papers regarding education science and two more papers regarding computer science during his research for the PhD degree. Dedicated to teaching/researching since 2004 and responsible for some syllabuses in the faculty he works in.

Martin Cápay, PhD (Department of Computer Science, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Slovakia). Specialises mainly in the theory of teaching informatics, programming, electronic testing, students’ behavior in e-environment, and activating method of teaching informatics.

Agnieszka Heba, PhD (Higher School of Labour Safety Management in Katowice). Participant of international conferences with lectures from the field of e-learning in the Czech Republic and Poland. She realised in 2014 a doctoral thesis in Czech language on the subject: Development of mathematical competences with the use of e-learning at the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Ostrava at the major: Informational and Communication Technologies in Education.

He is in charge of the scientific projects of the CIS Department, and his interests focus on computer programming and ICT usage in teaching and learning processes.

Maryna Romaniukha, PhD, associate professor (Department of Translation, Dniprodzerzhinsk State Technical University, Ukraine).
