Abstract
Didactic aids and equipment used in speech therapy The article presents tools which are used in speech therapy. The author discusses a wide range of didactic aids and equipment used in speech therapy emphasizing there will be a constant increase of their importance as compensating, motivating and accelerating items in speech therapy. What is more, the author desribes the selected aids and equipment which should be stimulating, motivational, educational, didactic, visual, supporting, documenting information and multifunctional.logopeda z ponaddwudziestoletnim zawodowym doświadczeniem. Ukończył Studium Logopedii Szkolnej w Instytucie Kształcenia Nauczycieli w Katowicach, prowadzone według programu prof. Leona Kaczmarka, a następnie Podyplomowe Studium Logopedii na Uniwersytecie Śląskim oraz neurologopedię. Pracuje w Poradni Psychologiczno-Pedagogicznej w Katowicach oraz w resorcie służby zdrowia. Od siedemnastu lat współpracuje z podyplomowymi studiami logopedycznymi Uniwersytetu Śląskiego. W latach 1995–2005 był asystentem w Wyższej Szkole Pedagogicznej Towarzystwa Wiedzy Powszechnej w Warszawie – Wydział Nauk Społeczno-Pedagogicznych w Katowicach. Od wielu lat pomaga dzieciom niepełnosprawnym w Dziennym Ośrodku Rehabilitacyjno- Oświatowym „Odrodzenie”. Jest aktywnym członkiem Zarządu Śląskiego Oddziału Polskiego Towarzystwa Logopedycznego. Przez wiele lat pełnił funkcję przewodniczącego Komisji Rewizyjnej przy ZG PTL. Jest autorem m.in. polskiej wersji czeskiej serii pomocy dydaktyczno-logopedycznych dr Karli Svobodovej i dr Dany Kutalkovej.
