Propozycja oddziaływania neurologopedycznego w przypadku chorego na SLA/MND
Abstract
This carefully prepared report presents briefly the problem of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and the role of a speech-language pathologist in multi-specialist rehabilitation of ALS patients. ALS, as a degenerative disease, poses a difficult task for speech-language pathologists. Their main aim is to maintain the current functional communication for as long as possible. The article contains the suggestions for speech-language therapies for people who suffer from ALS.absolwentka Uniwersytetu Śląskiego oraz Akademii Medycznej we Wrocławiu; logopeda, neurologopeda kliniczny. Od lat zajmuje się diagnozą i terapią mowy oraz komunikacji dzieci i osób dorosłych prowadząc poradnię logopedyczną/neurologopedyczną w Katowicach. Terapią dzieci z zaburzeniami mowy o podłożu neurologicznym zajmuje się w ramach pracy w ZSI nr 1 w Katowicach, gdzie prowadzi oddział specjalny dzieci z afazją. Współpracuje z Centrum Logopedii Uniwersytetu Śląskiego w Katowicach.
